My Story

6 years ago I realized I was going to be a divorced, unemployed, and homeless 27-year-old.

I was living in my restaurant (which I would soon no longer own), sleeping on the floor on an air mattress, and showering at the near-by gym.

My lowest low, no doubt.

I was miserable and depressed for a long time, I won’t lie. But I realized I had a choice. A choice to give in or push past the dip.

It was my wake up call. My opportunity to start over.

Marketing always had a special place in my heart, so I decided to go ALL IN. Devoured just about every blog post, subscribed to hundreds of newsletters, and enrolled in every free course I could find.

I took up entry-level marketing jobs. Gave remote work a chance. It was new. It was scary.

It saved my life.

Today, the world is turned upside down. Too many businesses have gone under. Too many have lost their jobs or know someone that has.

Into this void, it’s possible to show up with something new, something you start, something that solves a problem.

I started Hello Remote, a newsletter that highlights under-the-radar remote marketing jobs. It’s already helped people push past their dip. My heart couldn’t be happier.

Share it with anyone you think it can help. The world needs you now more than ever.
